Set in the heart of Museum street – Brew & Brownie is a coffeeholic’s dream, serving up every delicacy you could imagine. From the world’s best coffee to the finest butcher’s smoked bacon, veggie brew breakfast, real leaf brew tea, gluten-free bites, and sandwiches & toasties. Decked out in the city centre, it’s a little homely spot for a pitstop on a chilly, wet Yorkshire day. It’s not the biggest, so you might have to grab a seat wherever there’s one available. If there isn’t a seat to spare, head down to Brew & Brownie’s second outlet, just a few minutes’ walk away in York Minster.

Heavenly Desserts (as the name suggests) is a gorgeous spot on Blake Street in York. It’s stunning decor; with off-white marble and gorgeous pink, blue and gold tones, is quite literally an Instagrammer’s dream! Their signature Affogato which includes two shots of espresso served over a scoop of Madagascan Vanilla gelato is to die for (not literally but, you’ll probably cry happy tears). The chocolate orange pudding and The Belgian chocolate sponge infused with a chocolate and orange liquid centre and topped with a scoop of Madagascan Vanilla gelato and candied orange pieces will absolutely make your taste buds dance. If you are looking for a luxury dessert place to satisfy your coffee cravings and your sweet tooth, make sure to head there. 


Bean & Gone Coffee

Bootham Bar, York YO1 7HF

Right in the heart of Bootham bar in York city, you’ll find a hidden gem of a coffee shop – Bean & Gone Coffee. With its cosy, comfortable, and cool vibe, it’s a perfect spot for having a brewed coffee and tasty chow without the puffery. Serving up the best delicious sandwiches, hot ciabattas and amazing soups – you can simply pop in without having to dress up. Roberto’s has the best ever delicious cakes, waffles, and the world’s best hot chocolate which is definitely not to be missed.
