Bibis Italianissimo

Stockdales of Yorkshire

Already famous for its melt-in-the-mouth, locally sourced Wagyu beef, Stockdale’s opened up its doors last September and hasn’t looked back since. Head down stairs where can marvel the many cuts of beef showcased in their glass display, and enjoy your Josper Grill cooked steak with to die for sides, including beef dripping chips and bacon mash.

Little Tokyo

Small, yet perfectly formed, Little Tokyo has never been short of customers and serves up arguably the best Japanese food you’ll find in the city. The dimly lit interior lends itself perfectly to an intimate night for two, and the popular Bento Box Meals are catered well towards vegans, as well as lovers of seafood and meat.

The Foundry

Tucked away in Saw Mill Yard, The Foundry is a one of the most romantic restaurants you’ll find, and one of Leeds best kept secrets. Serving British classics with their own unique spin, the menu includes the House Speciality côte de boeuf and griddled king scallops. Book early for a weekend table to ensure you don’t miss out.

Kendell’s Bistro

This beautiful and authentic French bistro is situated just by The West Yorkshire Playhouse and is a popular spot with theatre goers. Duck confit with Toulouse sausage and a venison rack with bitter chocolate Sauce are just two of the menus many delights. Kendell’s also do a fantastic pre-theatre fixed menu, as well as an award winning a-la-carte.

Pintura

Opening in March 2015, being the new kid on the block didn’t stop Pintura from becoming the busiest tapas joint in town. Set over three floors, the interior is a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary Spain, just like its menu of delicious Basque inspired dishes. As well as delivering tapas which deviates from the norm, Pintura has a delightful gin bar downstairs which offers over 80 varieties of the increasingly popular tipple.
