Roomzzz at the top: leeds firm scoops national award

A family-owned Leeds-based aparthotel company has scooped a national award for its collection of properties after judges said they ‘cared about the little things’.

Roomzzz Aparthotels was awarded the Best Operator award in the 200+ units category this week at the Serviced Apartment Awards 2022, beating off stiff competition from big international names like Staycity and AKA.

The judges said: “The entry highlights the company’s attention to detail, how they want to delight and give their guests a real, but individual experience. They care about the little things, even when no one is looking. It comes across as a young, innovative and forward-thinking brand, attractive both to guests or potential employees.”

Hosted at the 5 star The Montcalm London Marble Arch, the Yorkshire firm came away with one award and were shortlisted in four other categories.
