If you’re a vegetarian or vegan venturing into a new city, it can sometimes be difficult to find good places to eat. Don’t worry if you’re visiting Liverpool though; this city is full of great vegetarian eateries. To make sure you have the best stay you possibly can in Liverpool, here are the best spots to get a vegetarian or vegan dish of food.

White Wolf

14 Cook St, Liverpool, L2 9QU

White Wolf is a plant-based yoga studio and kitchen, committed to bringing power, love, and unity into people’s lives. Their café serves up high-quality food and drink which is perfect as a complement to a yoga session, or as a balance to a busy day. All items are made with fresh and local ingredients so you can also nourish your body knowing your carbon footprint is at a minimum.

Crust

25 Bold St, Liverpool L1 4DN

Crust, on Bold Street, isn’t strictly just a vegetarian pizza place, but there are a lot of vegetarian options on the menu. Choose the Black Burrata, the Regina Margherita, the Rustica, or the Boscaiola, to satisfy those hunger cravings. They’ve got creativity down to a tee here and Crust is the perfect place to kick back and relax at the end of the day.

The Garden By Leaf

88 Wood Street, Liverpool, L1 4DQ

Located in FACT on Wood Street, The Garden by Leaf offers a huge range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Sit back and enjoy a warming soup, filling sandwich, or tapas in this light and airy space or pop in for a cup of loose leaf tea to take a break from the hectic schedule of life.

Sanskruti

Bixteth St, Liverpool, L3 9LP

Sanskruti is a purely vegan and vegetarian restaurant that’s unique to Liverpool. Here you’ll find a big selection of street food, south Indian dishes, and Punjabi and Gujerati mains. They wanted to represent the classical cuisine of India and we think they’ve done just that.

Baked aubergine

Host

31 Hope St, Liverpool, L1 9HX

If you fancy some Pan-Asian food when you’re visiting Liverpool, try out Host. Although not wholly vegetarian, Host has a big selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes on their menu, including the Thai Green Coconut Curry, Baked Aubergine, and Bibimbap. Host also caters for dairy free and gluten free diets too so this place is perfect if you’re visiting with a group that has varied food requirements.

Egg Café

16-18 Newington, Liverpool, L1 4ED

Egg Café is a bit of a vegetarian institution in Liverpool. Serving up both vegetarian and vegan food, Egg Café has transformed the loft space of this old Victorian building into an indie centre for food and art. Try out the Spicy Burger or the Tandoori Mushroom followed by an Apple Crumble for dessert and we bet you’ll want to come back to this place again and again whenever you’re in Liverpool.
