For families: The Crocky Horror Show

Over Halloween, things take a terrifying turn at The Crocky Trail, a mile long adventure playground in Waverton. Follow a haunted trail through the woods and prepare to meet monsters and zombies along the way. Enjoy rides in the dark lit with lasers, brave the wall of death and dare to visit the Crocky Dungeon. They even claim to have a giant spider that beats any animal in Chester Zoo! One minute you’ll be laughing, the next you’ll be screaming. Suitable for families with children aged seven and up.

There’s going to be a monster invasion in Manchester – need we say more? Hit the trail and see how many you can spot around the city. Catch a spooky pooch costume show or explore the pop-up enchanted forest and meet the witch from Room on the Broom. Little witches and wizards can enrol in magic school to learn a spell or two. Once the light fades many of Manchester’s iconic buildings will glow with ghoulish green light. Suitable for all ages.

Horror enthusiasts rejoice – Cheshire’s first Frightfest is landing in Altrincham this year. Enter the woods if you dare…this experience is guaranteed to leave you petrified! Make your way through an unnerving cemetery where the living dead are looking for fresh meat. Watch out for the claw in the woodland and avoid a deadly virus in Section 13. Scarewood is definitely not for the faint-hearted!
