The Yorkshire Cricket Mela

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCC) returns to host the 2nd year of the Yorkshire Cricket Mela. Leeds and Bradford are to play host to a unique blend of Cricket, Culture, Commerce and Community; seeing the first neutral test match to be played in England for 98 years!

There will be a host of events taking place across Yorkshire in the lead up to the six days of fixtures to be played at the Headingly Carnegie Stadium.

Fixtures are as follows:

Pakistan v Australia:

2nd MCC Spirit of Cricket Test Match at Headingly Carnegie Cricket Ground.

Wednesday 21st July – Sunday 25th July 2010

Will Pakistan triumph in this unique ‘home’ Test Series? Or could Australia repeat the brilliant form they showed at Headingly in defeating England by an innings in the 2009 Ashes Test Match?

England v Pakistan:

2nd Natwest series One-Day International

Sunday 12th September 2010

Will Pakistan’s Twenty20 World Champion players light up the 50 over game in September? Or will England find a way to emerge victorious?

For more information about the different events leading up to the Cricket fixtures, where to book tickets and ticket prices, log on to or call 0871 971 1222.
